A little about what we are looking for: someone reliable, who loves and has experience with babies and toddlers, and is looking for part time consistent work. I'm on maternity leave until January. We are looking for 10 hours a week for December and then 20-25 hours a week starting in January (20 hours guaranteed) when I return to work. I need help when I work part time and your schedule would be fixed on Monday and Wednesday from 10-530 starting in January. On other weekdays your schedule would be more flexible (likely from 10 a.m. -2 p.m. on weekday and possibly a Saturday evening here and there for a few hours for date night :) A little about us: We are a military family (Navy) my husband is an officer and I am a speech language pathologist. We have two lovely girls, an infant (who was just born this summer) and her big sister who is nearing 2 years old. We promise you a warm and loving home to join our family team! Our toddler LOVES the playground, going for walks and playing in her playroom (having tea parties, reading books etc). She is a chatter box and speaks in full sentences and is so much fun to be around. She still needs help navigating stairs and getting on and off chairs. She naps regularly for about two hours from around 11 a.m. to 1/130 p.m. She is not a picky eater, and sits well through meals in a high chair. Our infant is honestly a pretty easy baby once you get to know her cues! She eats well, sleeps well and is used to her sister being loud! She is breastfed but takes the bottle as well. We have street parking and are near the east falls church metro. No pets. We prefer someone with CPR training, prior childcare experience, who is fully vaccinated, and has transportation. We're looking for an honest, reliable, hard-working, warm, and loving person who genuinely loves children. We want you to enjoy coming to our home to help our girls and feel comfortable. This will be a great position for you if you're looking for part time work with some flexibility. We look forward to meeting you!
