Need FT caregiver for 17-year-old daughter with disabilities in Arlington. Position is 30-50 hours per week, M-F. Some flexibility with hours is possible. Our daughter is good-natured and easy going; she enjoys detective stories, tv dramas, and music. She has epilepsy and communicates using assistive technology; she does not speak. This position involves assisting with daily living skills, supporting communication needs, driving to school/therapies, companion support, meal prep, and aiding with hobbies. We provide lots of support and training, including from physical and speech therapists, so it could be a great opportunity for someone interested in those fields. Prior caregivers have gone on to careers in nursing, OT and PT. Must be legal to work in U. S. and ok with cats.
