About the job
*Due to an issue with my account - I am reposting this request.* I'm looking for a great caregiver for 1, moderately autistic, nonverbal child. We have been approved through the State of Virginia for up to 30 hours per week of care for him, paid for by the state. We would prefer someone who is experience in working with children like our son. He needs lots of play time and loves being outside. He also needs some help with self-care items (using the bathroom, brushing teeth, etc), and working on his communication skills (he has an ipad with communication software, and needs to practice). Also could help out with light housekeeping (child related such as making his dinner and helping him clean up the playroom, etc). Please be comfortable with pets. Hours will vary, but mostly they will be weekday afternoons and evenings after school.
