Babysitter For Two Loving Girls!

Hello, my name is Michelle. My husband and I are looking for a babysitter that's willing to watch our 2-month-old and 2 1/2-year-old every once in a while for date nights. Also, I am looking for someone who's comfortable being around a big dog. He will be crated while you watch the kids, but I like to mention we have a dog just in case you are allergic. Right now I am looking to interview different perspective babysitters to see which one will best fit my family. In the beginning, I will be around until I feel more comfortable leaving you alone with my children, so I'll be asking for you to come once or twice a month to get to know my family. The shifts will be in the evening that way it mimics a date night timeframe. I live in South Salt Lake so I would like for our babysitter to live somewhat near. Because my toddler goes to by 8-8:30PM, and shifts normally start around 6:30 or 7 PM, you won't really need to worry about cooking or meal prepping anything. You also won't need to worry about planning a big play session, but I would like for my toddler to still be mentally and physically engaged until bedtime. That means maybe some puzzle play or pretend play or singing songs, etc.. I don't mind if you start a movie for the last half hour or hour while watching the toddler, but I think in the beginning, my toddler will become more comfortable with you faster if you play with her. My 2-month-old is pretty easy. She mainly just sleeps, eats, or stares at you. So I'm not too worried about her being super engaged, but I do want a babysitter who is comfortable around infants. With that being said, she does require some tummy time (for like 5-10 minutes), and she does like it when you talk to her (she'll smile at you and make cute little sounds when you speak to her). I'm looking for a babysitter at least in their mid 20s, and have experience with children. I will want at least two references of previous families you've helped with childcare that I can call (or at least good reviews on Care. com).
