About the job
We are seeking an in-home nanny for two children: a 21-month-old girl and a newborn expected in January. Initially, the nanny's primary role will be to care for the toddler while one parent is on parental leave with the baby. After six months, the nanny will care for both children. The job starts with flexible hours from 7 a.m. to Noon, Tuesday through Friday, and will extend to 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. after six months. The ideal nanny should have experience with babies and toddlers, enjoys doing activities with the kids, uses positive reinforcement, preps kids snacks and meals with the provided food, reinforces nap time schedules and potty training, and helps keep the kids' space clean. Additional qualifications include reliable transportation, carrying the kids and going up/down stairs, and preferred first aid and CPR training.
