About the job
S is our 8-year-old boy who has nonverbal autism. He is easy going, but does have things he needs help with. He is semi potty trained (still wears pull-ups) but needs constant reminders and encouragement to go potty (and needs support doing so). While he mostly keeps to himself, he also gets into moods where he makes messes and gets into things. As such, he needs regular check-ins. He doesnt like being with our 3-year-old, so it is bouncing back and forth between the two (H loves attention and will likely want to be with the sitter at all times). Also, periodically he does get into moods where he cries and screams - it is really just being patient with him and redirecting his attention. He really is a sweetheart and such a good/easy going boy - we just want to find someone who will love being with him as much as we do.
