We have a lab dog that will need to be taken out a few times a day, but we have a fenced yard for her. She is a loving dog but does have a problem with jumping. Our son is a picky eater and a little temperamental! He needs quite a bit of entertainment, but we are okay with an hour or so of TV time for him throughout the day if you need that for him. He is a good napper and will put himself to sleep. You can take him on walks, there is a park very close to the house. You are also welcome to take him to the local library reading groups or other activities you feel could be fun.
