First and foremost, my son has epilepsy. So, we need a caregiver comfortable with keeping a close eye on him and administering basic first aid and rescue medications if needed. I am a firefighter, so I work a weird schedule, and my wife is starting school, so for 2-3 days a week we will need help during the mornings and afternoons while my wife is at school. He wakes up at around 8-9, and takes 4-5 oral anti-seizure medications twice daily. Everything else is negotiable, we just mainly need someone comfortable drawing up medications in the morning, potentially administering rescue medications.
