If you enjoy engaging children in meaningful activities, exploring the great outdoors, and encouraging curiosity, this is the perfect opportunity. A Peek into the Family's World This family believes in spending as much time outdoors as possible-whether it's heading to the park, going on nature walks, or swinging in the backyard. They also love reading books, teaching new skills, and cooking together as a family. TV is only allowed on rare occasions as a reward, so they are looking for a nanny who can keep things active and engaging! The parents have a balanced approach to parenting-Dad is more authoritative, while Mom is nurturing. Together, they focus on creating a loving environment where their children feel supported, guided, and encouraged to explore the world around them. Schedule and Compensation: Hours: Monday, Friday, Saturday (9AM - 6:30PM) and Sunday (12:00PM - 6:30PM) Compensation: $23-$25/hour Start Date: ASAP! What You'll Be Doing For the Toddler: - Provide attentive and loving care, ensuring emotional and developmental needs are met. - Encourage exploration through interactive play, music, movement, and sensory activities. - Plan exciting outdoor time-walks, playground visits, and backyard adventures. - Keep a structured but fun routine that nurtures independence. - Prepare simple, nutritious meals and snacks. For the Preschooler: - Ensure school pickup at 3:15 PM in Tomball on Mondays and Fridays (unless Grandma does Friday pickup). - Create a playful and enriching after-school routine, incorporating reading, hands-on learning, and creative activities. - Support homework, structured play, and social interactions. - Encourage outdoor activities-sandbox fun, bike riding, and park outings. Weekend Adventures (Both Kids!): - Plan and facilitate engaging activities, from crafts and games to nature scavenger hunts. - Supervise sibling interactions, ensuring fun and cooperation. - Assist with meals, snacks, and light tidying to keep things running smoothly. - Be proactive in keeping playtime fun, structured, and educational! Light Household Support: - Keep play areas and common spaces tidy. - Clean up after meals and activities. - Help organize toys, books, and craft supplies. IDEAL CANDIDATE - A nurturing, fun-loving nanny with at least 3 years of professional childcare experience. - CPR and First Aid Certified. - Reliable, punctual, and committed to providing consistent care. - Positive, engaging, and excited about outdoor play and hands-on activities. - Comfortable with the family's structured yet loving parenting style. - Proactive and adaptable, balancing taking initiative with following the parents' approach
