About the job
We seek regular childcare starting in Sept. Our 5yo daughter will require school pickup and afterschool care. We plan to homeschool our 7yo son & need care for him about two days per week, at least each Fri. Our son loves art, music, & animals. Our daughter loves tiny things, pretend play, & making new friends. For homeschooling, I would do lesson-planning, do most schooling the 3 weekdays I'm home, and leave some schoolwork for my days away. Our son is neurodivergent and needs extra attention and patience. He's still working on kindergarten-level skills in some areas. Care may include taking him to therapies. We'd like a caregiver familiar with, or open to learning about, the Neurobehavioral Model. We need someone who believes in the importance of neurodiversity, working with individuals' strengths, and providing accommodations.
