Trinity Preschool is seeking high quality, well-educated lead preschool teachers in a Christian school setting. We're searching for someone who is wonderful with children, personable with parents, and passionate about Christian Preschool Education!
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) teaching young children about the love of God, developmentally appropriate lesson planning, implementation of creative and inviting learning centers, active visual supervision (indoor/outdoor), and maintaining a clean, organized, exciting, and safe classroom environment.
Must be able to work cooperatively with other staff, act as a positive Christian role model for children, be professional, and dependable. All preschool staff must successfully clear all background checks and fingerprint clearances with DPS and the FBI.
Overview
We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children and a strong background in early childhood education.
8 hours of in-service required initially before entering a classroom (unless, prior experience in licensed facility)
CPR-first aid certified
previous preschool teaching experience
experience in working with and relating to parents
must be flexible due to child/employee ratios
familiarity with Texas minimum standards
parent-teacher conferences
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum
Create engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social development of children
Manage classroom activities and ensure a safe learning environment
Provide individualized instruction to meet the needs of each child
Conduct assessments and track student progress
Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's development
Qualifications
Experience working with children in an educational setting
Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices
Strong classroom management skills
Ability to develop and implement educational programs
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Certification in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred
