Seeking a compassionate Personal Care Attendant for my 10-year-old son, who's a high functioning autistic. This part-time role requires up to 28 hours a week over 5 - 7 days. Responsibilities: - Supervise & engage in activities supporting his interests & goals. - Assist with daily tasks: meal prep, hygiene, cleaning, & laundry. - Implement therapeutic exercises & follow behavioral plans. - Provide transportation from school/after-school programs. Qualifications: - Experience w/ children on autism spectrum preferred. - Strong patience, understanding, & communication skills. - Able to foster a safe, supportive environment. Schedule: Ideally, 18 hours per week, after school, Monday-Friday, remaining hours, flexible timing. *Our family loves adventures in & out of town; joining us is open for discussion.
