About the job
We have a 6-year-old son who has Autism Spectrum Disorder and receives ABA therapy along with Speech Therapy. He attends an ABA school M-F for 7 hours each day. We are looking for someone to help with afternoon pickups from school and assist with activities after. Our son is very bright and energetic. He enjoys going to the park, swimming, loves math and numbers, learning new languages and countries. Typically he awakes in the morning we assist him with getting ready for school, packing his lunch. He likes to be independent, but needs reminders because he gets distracted easily. When he gets home from school he craves screen time. We provide him a snack, dinner usually by 6 p.m. Wed like to get him back into extracurriculars.
