About the job
We are moving to Houston and need help looking after our daughter. This is a short term position, from the start of May until September, 40hs/week, 8am-4pm, Mon-Fri, child oriented house work/meal prep. Minimal to no transportation expected. Animal lovers please apply (we have a female springer spaniel). We do have a son who will be enrolled in an extended hours school, but is highly influential on our daughter's interests. She enjoys dinosaurs, music, and climbing on the kitchen table. One of us works from home but we're able to divide the house so work don't interfere with child activities for the work day (this is a particularly valuable lesson we learnt during COVID). We are looking for someone energetic and engaging. Our parenting style is to encourage autonomy and self regulation... as much as can be done for a 1. 5yo anyhow.
