Location: Houston, Texas Start Date: ASAP Children: male 11/2020 Compensation: $30/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00pm-6:00 p.m. Meet the Family! "We are a busy family looking for a house manager/nanny who is dynamic, kind and trustworthy." Family in the Heights is seeking a Nanny who will care for their son and support their household n the afternoons. The child goes to school until 4:15 p.m. each day, so the first part of the day will be household management. Duties include: Before the child arrives home, organize and tidy up common areas and child's areas including loading/unloading dishwasher, wiping down counters/table, putting away any items, doing child's laundry (family laundry is a plus), picking up toys Family meal prep (chopping, washing, measuring, thawing, preheating, etc.) Keeping supplies stocked and letting employer know when things are getting low Run errands as needed Prepare child's meals and snacks (family meals an added bonus!) Pick up the child from school (excellent driving record required) and engage him in indoor and outdoor activities such as games, books, arts and crafts, park, etc. Candidate will be: Experienced, confident, and capable with school-age children Kind, patient, and loving Responsible, dependable, and punctual Organized Creative and fun Proactive, with a positive, can-do attitude Excellent organizational skills A clear communicator Flexible to stay later some evenings (as late as 8, pre-planned, in this case will handle bedtime routine - bathe, pajamas, brush teeth, etc. Both work, occasionally from home.
