Meet the Family!
"We are first-time parents who just had our baby in July! My husband works at home but has very long hours and often travels. I am currently taking a break from work, but will likely go back in the next few months. We are very busy and have very full social lives with family and friends. We also love to travel. We are generally pretty laid-back but naturally as first-time parents, we can be a little bit anxious and worried about our daughter and her care! We are namely looking for a nanny who would enable us to have more quality time together and enable me to leave the house to go to the gym or doctors appointments as needed."
Family in central Houston (Museum Park) is seeking a Nanny who will care for their baby, provide stimulating activities, and provide household assistance when Mom is able to spend time with the baby.
Duties include:
Provide all care, including dressing, changing, feeding/preparing child's meals, putting down for naps, etc.
Engage the baby in indoor and outdoor, age-appropriate activities to hit developmental milestones, such as tummy time, books, music, walks, play, games, park, activities, etc. (no screen household)
Keeping the common areas and baby's areas tidy (e.g., wiping down counters, loading/unloading dishwasher, clean/sterilize bottles, doing child's laundry, emptying diaper pail), regularly cleaning and putting away toys (the family will be hiring a part-time housekeeper)
Keeping supplies stocked and letting employer know when things are getting low
Light household tasks - organizing, errands, grocery shopping, light meal prep
Candidate will be:

Extremely limited with their phone use (emergencies only)
Respect the privacy of the family-friendly, but professional and baby-focused

Organized
Discreet, respecting the confidentiality of the household (NDA will be required)
Open to flexing hours for an occasional date night (pre-arranged when Nanny is available)
Preferred, but not required: bachelor's degree or equivalent
Comfortable with Mom stepping in as she can (would do household duties including errands during those times) as well as a large family that lives nearby that loves to visit
Dependable and punctual
Structured, able to create and follow a daily routine
Open to a long-term position who seek to grow their family in the future
Vaccinated - COVID-19, Influenza, TDAP, MMR, Chicken Pox, and Tuberculosis
