About the job
We are looking for a substitute Sunday school teacher at a growing church in River Oaks! The hours are 8:00 a.m. -12:15 p.m. , paid until 12:45 p.m. at $20/hour. You must provide proof of legal ability to work in the U. S. and you are required to be on the church payroll. We have 4 classrooms: 6-17 months, 18 months-36 months, Pre-K 3, and Pre-K 4. There are 3 church services (8:30, 9:45, and 11:05 a.m. ). You will have 3 different groups of kids each morning and 1-2 co-teachers, depending on which class you are in. You must be comfortable giving bottles, changing diapers, singing, dancing, playing, and reading to children. The lesson plans and materials are prepped for you each week, if applicable. There are also frequent opportunities for extra hours as the church hosts special events that require childcare if you are interested!
