Meet the Family!
We are a family of four - mom, dad, 10- and 6-year old girls, and an 18-year-old cat. Mom is a lawyer, who works at a law firm located in downtown Houston. She works from the office most days but occasionally works from home as well. Dad is a tax consultant, who works at a firm downtown, and also works from the office most days except Fridays. Our older girl is in fourth grade and our younger one is in first grade. We have had full-time nannies since our oldest was born. Our first nanny was with us for 7 years and only quit to stay home with a new baby. Our only other nanny has been with us for three years but is leaving us to move out of town with her husband.
We no longer need a full-time nanny but we definitely need a Family Manager. Our lives and our kids' lives are very busy, and we are hoping to find someone who is organized, active, and fun that can help us embrace the busy-ness each day of the week. Our girls both swim after school most days at a club that is very close to our house and not far from their school. The girls sometimes have other activities after school as well, but they are also within 1-2 miles of our house. We can provide a car if that would be helpful. We have always considered our nannies as part of our family and look forward to viewing our new Family Manager the same way. Our girls are very loving and sweet and really want to connect with whoever we hire next, as they have had great relationships with our past nannies.
