Special Educational Needs Nanny for a 12-year-old boy with ASD Monday Friday 3 p.m. 8/9 p.m. (25-30 hours per week) Responsibilities include: Picking up child from school and bring to after school activities. (Spring Branch Area) Assist with snack time and dinner. Assist child with hygiene-related tasks such as brushing teeth, bathing, grooming. Assist with the transition to bedtime. Must be comfortable organizing activities and outings when necessary. Skilled in dealing with challenging behavior and demonstrate conflict management resolutions by actively listening and finding appropriate solutions to problems. Interested persons MUST HAVE: Previous experience working with children with special needs. Maintain professional conduct and appearance. This is a physically active position. Patience and empathy.
