About the job
Care would be 7:30 am-5:30 p.m. Monday-Friday. We have twin boys who LOVE to play trucks, dinosaurs, run and play. We are looking for structure, helping with letters and letter recognition/sounds. Numbers and simple math. Writing their names and drawing shapes. Basically daily work to help get them ready for Kindergarten. They do usually nap about 1-1. 5 hours in the early afternoon (12-1 or 12-1:30). A typical day would be: 7:30 a.m. - Breakfast 8:30 a.m. - Play/letter or number work 10:00 a.m. - Art of some kind 10:30 a.m. - Outdoor play (weather permitting) 11:15 a.m. - Lunch 12:00 p.m. - Nap 1-1:30 p.m. - If awake, quiet activity (reading, drawing, no screen time) 1:30 p.m. - Play/letter or number work 3:00 p.m. - Snacks 3:30 p.m. - Outdoor play (weather permitting) 4:15 p.m. - Inside to clean up and play (art, reading, singing, dancing, etc) 5:30 p.m. - Done
