A warm and vibrant family is seeking a dedicated full-time nanny to care for their three girls, aged 6, nearly 4, and 8 months. This role is perfect for someone who loves to balance engaging, active play with supporting family routines and values clear communication and reliability. Responsibilities Primary Focus: Engage with the two older girls, including after-school pickups and activity transport. Baby: There is a beloved Nanny/Housekeeper who cares for the baby during the week. Care for All Three Children: On Thursdays only and rare afternoons until 5 pm, manage the baby along with the older children until mom arrives. Meal Preparation: Prepare and serve simple, healthy dinners for the children around 5:30 p.m. Light Household Tasks: Assist with the children's laundry, tidying communal areas, loading/unloading the dishwasher, and cleaning up after children's meals. Guide the children to pick up after themselves. Family Travel: Join the family for domestic trips, especially during summer, spring break, and holidays. Private accommodations provided on trips. Ideal Candidate This family is looking for a team player who is: Engaging and Active: Enjoys planning creative activities and is physically ready to keep up with active children. Confident and Patient: Skilled in gentle, effective discipline with an understanding of child development basics, ensuring appropriate boundaries and teaching good manners. Reliable and Organized: Parents have demanding jobs, so a dependable, punctual nanny is essential. A Strong Communicator: Willing to communicate openly with the family to ensure consistency in the children's care and development. Vaccinated: Flu and Tdap vaccinations are required. Qualifications Valid driver's license and clean driving record (nanny car provided). Experience with child development, but not necessarily the focus as there are typical duties involved such as carpool, laundry etc... Fluency in English, familiarity with carpool and activity schedules, food prep, and other essential responsibilities.
