Location: Dripping Springs, Texas Start Date: ASAP Children: female 09/2024, female 11/2021 Compensation: $25/hour Schedule: Monday-Friday 8am-4/5 p.m. Meet the Family: We are a family of four with two girls - our baby and our 3 years old. We moved to Austin from New York three years ago and are always looking for new places to explore with our kids. We love visiting the State Park, and going to local breweries. Family in Dripping Springs is looking for a caring nanny for their baby. Occasionally, the nanny may also provide backup care for their 3-year-old when they're not in school. Duties include: Provide all care, including dressing, changing, feeding/preparing child's meals, putting down for naps, etc Engage the baby in indoor and outdoor, age-appropriate activities to hit developmental milestones, such as tummy time, books, music, walks, play, games, park, activities, etc. Keeping the common areas and baby's areas tidy (e. g., wiping down counters, loading/unloading dishwasher, clean/sterilize bottles, doing child's laundry), regularly cleaning and putting away toys Organize and tidy up common areas and child's areas including loading/unloading dishwasher, clean up after meals, putting away any items, doing child's laundry, picking up toys Occasional backup care for the oldest child, a 3-year-old, when not in school due to holidays, etc Candidate will be: Experienced, confident, and capable with newborns and babies Dependable and punctual Caring, patient, nurturing, and loving Proactive, with a positive, can-do attitude Comfortable with dogs - the family has two friendly mini Australian Shepherds An excellent communicator Dad works from home, and Mom has a hybrid work schedule.
