Do you love Jesus and enjoy working with kids? GracePoint Church in Coppell is looking for paid workers to serve alongside our Sunday morning volunteers on a weekly basis. Sunday morning shift time is from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. There are openings to serve with birth through fourth grade children. Applicants must be 18 years old, have some experience working with children, and be committed to sharing biblical principles with children. SUMMARY OF DUTIES: To provide a safe, nurturing, teaching environment for children during church related functions. RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsible for providing age-appropriate care which may include: feeding, changing diapers, escorting to the bathroom, maintaining a safe environment, putting children down for naps, holding, or sitting with and cheerfully interacting with children through games, stories, play and prayer. Be polite, friendly, and courteous to all children, parents, and volunteers. Stay until the children are secured with a responsible adult named on the child's registration form. In the event of an emergency, notify the parent via church communication system. Straighten the room and clean any toys before leaving. Report to the church staff any issues which are hindering the carry out of the duties or responsibilities of this position COMPENSATION AND HOURS: $15/hour Child care hours are Sunday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. with additional hours available for special events and holidays. QUALIFICATIONS: Be of good moral and Christian character, and have a growing faith in Christ. Experience in caring for children with the ability to adapt and interact with each child and their varying needs. At least 18 years of age with a High School Diploma or GED equivalent
