Hi! We are seeking a full-time nanny for our two boys, ages 1 and 3. Our current nanny is heading back to school full time in August. Our boys are happy, active toddlers. They love to play, eat, and take walks outside. As far as toddlers go, they are easy children to care for. The children's spaces in our home are Montessori-inspired - both kids do well with independent play. Our parenting style is playful and gentle but firm with our "no's". We have an established daily routine. The following attributes are importantly to us in a nanny - patient, gentle, structured, genuinely enjoys children, trustworthy, attentive, punctual, and safety-conscious. We are ideally looking for someone who plans to work with our family for several years. In addition to childcare, we will ask our nanny to prepare breakfasts and lunch for the kids (simple stuff like quesadillas, sandwiches). Help meal prep dinner (chop veggies), time permitting. Light housekeeping - kids laundry, organizing children's spaces, keeping children's gear clean (highchair, strollers, toys), and cleaning the kitchen of messes made during the course of the day. A few more things to note: - no screen time for the kids - we request that our nanny remain off their phone when the kids are awake - car & valid drivers license required - we will request a background check and ask for references - we pay a competitive hourly rate and offer paid time off My husband and I both work from home. We are hoping our new nanny can start in August and spend time training with our current nanny so the transition is easier for the kids. We are excited to meet you!
