Our 12-year-old is cognitively high-functioning, but he has ADHD & mood & anxiety disorders that can cause negative behaviors. He can be overstimulated by lots of sensory input and big crowds, so we dont go out with him very often. My husband mostly works from home, in another room. So it would be helpful to have someone hang out with C if I need to run errands or do tasks in another part of the house. C enjoys playing on his tablet, watching kids videos, doing arts & crafts, and sometimes being in our small above-ground pool.
