Family in Bellaire is seeking a Nanny who will tag-team with Mom in caring for the children and home. Older child goes to school MWF 8:30a-2p, and family would like the Nanny to begin establishing that relationship before baby# 2 arrives. Location: Bellaire, Texas Start Date: ASAP Children: female 02/2023, baby due 11/2024 (male) Compensation: $25-30/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:00pm Duties include: Provide care, including dressing, changing, feeding/preparing children's meals, putting down for naps, etc. Engage the children in indoor and outdoor, age-appropriate activities to hit developmental milestones, such as tummy time (baby), books, music, walks, play, games, activities, park, etc. Keeping the common areas and children's areas tidy (e.g., wiping down counters, loading/unloading dishwasher, clean/sterilize bottles, doing children's laundry), putting away toys (the family has a housekeeper twice/week for deep cleaning) Keeping supplies stocked and letting employer know when things are getting low Errands as needed Transporting the children to activities (excellent driving record required) Nanny will be: Experienced, confident, and capable with newborns through preschool-age children, and experienced with multiple children (5 years min. preferred) Bubbly and energetic Passionate about caring for children Seeking a long-term position and willing to grow with their family Flexible for travel (domestic and international - passport required), and/or occasional weekends, date nights, and overnights (shift schedule to accommodate from time to time with notice), travel would include approx. 10 days in the summer, the week of Thanksgiving (1.5x on holidays), the week of Christmas (1.5x on holidays), and the week of spring break (family is open to an adjust travel schedule for Nanny during holidays) Mature, without a lot of personal commitments that would impede the flexibility needs Comfortable with dogs - the family has a small Havanese dog Plus, but not required: Bilingual English/Spanish Dad works from home and Mom does not work outside the home. Meet the Family We are a nice, easygoing couple with an 18-month-old girl, a small Havanese dog, and a baby boy on the way (due November 9th). We are looking for someone to help out mom while she juggles two kids. Our oldest girl will be in school MWF 8:30-2pm, so she will not be home all of the time. We are hoping to find someone who is looking for a long-term position and can grow with our family. Benefits: 10 days of vacation per year, 3-5 days of sick time 8 paid holidays: New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, note: after this year, the position will include travel during the Thanksgiving and Christmas holidays (nanny would work at 1.5x rate)
