Id: 2617549 Children: 2 years old, 4 years old, 7 years old (Two older children are in school Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 3 PM) Compensation: $28-$34/HR based on education and experience Start Date: Flexible, Mid April for a year agreement with a possible extension. Family is looking to hire long-term. Schedule: Monday-Friday 8 am-5 pm, or 9 am-6 pm (40 hours per week guaranteed) Pets: None (But family may get a dog) Location: 78703 Tarrytown Duties: Full care Children's meals Nap routine Drive children in the nanny's vehicle Drive children in the family's vehicle Keep the children's bedroom/play area and common areas clean Children's laundry Load and unload the dishwasher National travel with the family Pre-prep dinner items for the family Grocery shop Assist with putting away delivered groceries Desired Nanny Qualities: A highly dependable, and organized nanny who is efficient in managing both childcare and household tasks. A proactive nanny with strong meal prep skills and comfortable with keeping things tidy and moving along (laundry, dishes, play area resets). Knowledgeable about car seat and road safety. Experience working with multiple children is a big plus. This role is a mix of childcare and household support, with a strong emphasis on meal prep and maintaining an organized home environment. Our ideal candidate is experienced, responsible, proactive, and comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home mom in a co-worker-style dynamic. I am a stay-at-home mom and will often be home working alongside you. My husband, who is retired, is also in and out throughout the day. This means the role is less independent than a traditional nanny position but offers the benefit of working in a team environment. We prioritize professionalism-prompt arrival, clear and early communication about scheduling needs, and a proactive approach to responsibilities. That said, this job is not isolating, and I tend to form a professionally appropriate friendship with our nanny. It's a balance between teamwork and professionalism.
