Part-Time Weekend Nanny/Family Manager in Northwest Hills - $43, 680 - $62, 400/yr Location: Austin, Texas, 78730 Start Date: ASAP Children: 8-year-old, 4-year-old and newborn Compensation: $35-40/hr Schedule: 24-30 hours guaranteed: Friday 7am- mid afternoon, Saturday and Sunday 8am-5 p.m. (flexible to shift the schedule to meet the availability of the Nanny) Sweet Family of 5 in the Northwest Hills area is seeking to hire a proactive Family Manager to offer an extra set of hands over the weekend and keep their household running smoothly. Duties include: Partnering with Mom and Dad to cover a busy weekend schedule of activities Caring for the children including preparing meals and snacks, dressing, changing, putting down for naps, etc Engage the children in indoor and outdoor activities that are educational and developmentally appropriate such as books, play, games, music, arts and crafts, activities, walks, park, etc. Keeping the common areas and children's areas tidy (e. g., wiping down counters, loading/unloading dishwasher, doing children's laundry), regularly cleaning and putting away toys Keeping supplies stocked and letting employer know when things are getting low Transport the children and run errands as needed (family has a Nanny car to provide for on-the-job driving) Candidate will be: Proactive and a hard worker Experienced, confident, and capable with babies through school-age children Professional and highly organized (able to keep the household running smoothly over the busy weekend) Adaptable to change Kind, caring, and truly loves children An incredible multi-tasker (lots of moving parts with 3 children!) Punctual and reliable Fun and creative with activities the engage with the children An excellent communicator Able to offer flexibility to adjust the schedule as needed and discussed in advance Vaccinations: Tdap is required and flu and COVID are preferred Both parents work full-time and will be in and out during the weekends.
