Family in Tarrytown is seeking a Nanny Manager who will come alongside Mom to support their family. They are seeking an organized, energetic, and dependable candidate who can balance childcare with home support. The oldest child is in school 8:15am-2:45pm, the middle child is in school 8:15am-12:00pm, and the youngest is home. Duties: Caring for the children including getting ready for the day, preparing meals and snacks, etc. Engage the youngest in indoor and outdoor age-appropriate activities such as books, play, games, music, arts and crafts, activities, walks, park, etc. Keeping the common areas and children's areas tidy (e.g., cleaning up after meals, loading/unloading dishwasher, doing children's laundry), putting away toys Mom typically handles the pick-ups from school but Nanny will assist with transportation to/from activities as needed (excellent driving record required) Direct older children toward independent play or outdoor play, depending on energy levels Candidate will be: Experienced, confident, and capable with toddlers through school-age children, and experienced with multiple children Professional and able to maintain appropriate boundaries Dependable and punctual An excellent communicator Self-driven and proactive, adept at both childcare and household support Responsible and trustworthy, with good judgement Comfortable working alongside a stay-at-home mom with a teamwork approach and a mutually respectful, supportive environment Structured and willing to follow a routine established by the parents Active, energetic, and outdoorsy Health, nutrition, and fitness-minded Organized and efficient Strong meal prep skills, Mom provides clear meal options and recipes Knowledgeable about car seat and road safety Open to occasionally accompanying the family on trips, with advanced planning and consideration Available for occasional date nights Mom does not work outside the home and Dad is retired, but both may be in and out throughout the day.
