Childcare Provider Lakeway Church

Location: Lakeway Church, Lakeway, TX Pay Rate: $20 per hour Job Type: Part-time, As-Needed About Us: Lakeway Church is looking for caring and reliable childcare providers to join our team! We provide a safe, loving, and faith-filled environment for children during church services and special events. If you enjoy working with kids and are looking for flexible, as-needed work, we'd love to hear from you! Position Overview: We are seeking on-call childcare providers to be on our payroll and help with childcare whenever needed. Our main childcare needs are on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings, with additional opportunities available for various church events throughout the year. This role is similar to babysitting but within a church setting, where you'll provide care for children in a structured and supportive environment. Responsibilities: Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing manner Lead age-appropriate activities, playtime, and simple lessons (if applicable) Maintain a clean and organized childcare space Follow all church childcare policies and safety procedures Communicate effectively with parents and church staff. Be available on-call for: Sunday mornings: 9:00am-12:30 p.m. Wednesday Mornings: 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 9:00am-11:00 a.m. Wednesday evenings: 5:30pm-8:30 p.m. Occasional events: Varies Monthly and Annually Requirements: Experience in childcare, babysitting, or working with children in a group setting Reliable, responsible, and able to work in a team environment Ability to create a warm and engaging atmosphere for children Must pass a background check (required for all church childcare staff) CPR/First Aid certification (preferred but not required) Why Join Us?
