Location: Austin, TX, 78746 Start Date: ASAP Children: Twin 5 yr old girls Compensation: $30-35/hr Schedule: Mon - Thu 1:30pm-7:30 p.m. or 2:30-8:30 p.m. (preferred), Fri 3:30pm-9:30 p.m. (30 hours guaranteed) Family is seeking a seasoned, mature and reliable Nanny Manager to maintain their household and care for their twin girls after school. Job duties will include: All care for twins, including minimal meal prep, help with changing, bathing, etc. Implement activities and engagement with children that encourage growth and development. There's limited free time, but when time permits, Nanny will engage with them with age-appropriate activities such as coloring, writing and reading practice, small crafts etc. Assistance with general household management will be requested as well, especially during 'child-free' hours while the girls are in school (3-4 hrs/day). These duties will include: Children's laundry Keeping girls' bedrooms and play areas clean and tidy Doing dishes as needed/ Loading/running/unloading dishwasher, keeping kitchen tidy Folding family laundry Errands: grocery shopping, post office, returns etc. Meal prep, making kid lunches for following day Other ad-hoc household tasks similar in nature The ideal Nanny will embody these qualities: Enjoys playing and interacting with kids A can-do attitude Flexible and patient Very reliable and dependable Experience with twins or young sibling multiples Confident, capable, and experienced in all areas of school-age care Able to occasionally travel with family (not required) Up-to-date on vaccines including TDAP, Flu and Covid, including Covid boosters Possible extension of agreement - looking for PT nanny for many years Mom and Dad work full-time from a home office. There is a small 12-pound dog in the home.
