Meet the family:
Our family relocated from New York City to Austin in early November. We enrolled both of our children in a preschool program (we have seen both of our children thrive in a structured school environment), and I am currently a stay-at-home mom after having a corporate career. I love being present for everyday moments as our children grow and also being able to volunteer my time at their school and see them enjoying extracurricular activities. I see our nanny as a critical partner in our effort to raise happy & healthy tiny members of society and I want to find someone who appreciates being organized and detail-oriented, as our days can be quite busy.
Both my husband and I are originally from the Midwest but have lived in NYC (Manhattan) for 13+ years. We are excited to have more space in our new home, and we like to have a child-friendly" but not "child-forward" home if that makes sense (i.e., toys in designated areas not scattered all over the house, always put away - with the kids helping!) after playing. We look forward to meeting other families and children in the community where we are living and getting to know Austin better (we do not have family or friends there)."
