Meet the Family! We are seeking a nanny for our 14-month-old, as well as for our older children after school. Our older kids are energetic and creative and love to be busy with projects. My husband and I want to ensure that all of the children will get the attention they need! Job Id: 2273095 Location: Austin, Texas Start Date: ASAP Children: male 09/2023, male 05/2018, female 09/2014 Compensation: $30-35/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday 1:00pm-6:00 p.m. Description: Family is seeking a Nanny to care for their 14-month-old, as well as the older children when they are home from school. Duties include: Provide care for 14-month-old including dressing, changing, feeding/preparing child's meals, putting down for naps, etc. older children will be home after school at 3:30 p.m. Engage all children in indoor and outdoor, age-appropriate activities to hit developmental milestones, such as books, music, walks, play, games, park, activities, etc. Keep common areas and children's areas tidy including cleaning up after meals, loading/unloading dishwasher, putting away any items/toys, and doing children's laundry Light meal prep which could include either making children's meals or assisting with family meal prep (chopping, washing, measuring, thawing, preheating, etc.) Candidate will be: Experienced, confident, and capable with toddlers and school-age , children experienced caring for multiple children at once Caring, patient, nurturing, and loving Able to build meaningful connections with each child Organized Creative and fun Trustworthy, dependable, and punctual Engaging and attentive - very hands-on Proactive, with a positive, can-do attitude Educational/developmentally-minded Flexible with the schedule Comfortable with dogs - the family has two dogs (10 lbs and 50 lbs) that Nanny will let in/out and feed as needed Active, energetic, and outdoorsy An excellent communicator and collaborator Dad works outside the home, and Mom does not work outside the home but will be in and out.
