Family in Lakeway is seeking a Nanny who will come up with fun, educational, and developmentally appropriate activities for a smart and creative 4-year-old girl. Location: Austin, Texas, 78734 Start Date: ASAP Children: female 10/2020 Compensation: $28-32/hr Schedule: Monday - Friday 12:30pm-6:30 p.m. Duties include: Engage the child in indoor and outdoor activities that are educational and developmentally appropriate such as books, play, dress-up, games, music, arts and crafts, activities, etc. - this cutie-pie is funny and loves to be the star of the show! Walks, park, and other outside activities/outings in the area are also encouraged Prepare child's simple meals and snacks Organize and keep common areas and child's areas tidy including loading/unloading dishwasher, clean up after meals, putting away any items, doing child's laundry, picking up toys Keeping supplies stocked and letting employer know when things are getting low Coordinate playdates with friends Safely transport children to and from activities and/or school, to/from appointments, and run errands such as groceries and shopping for clothes, toys, etc. for the child(excellent driving record required) Nanny will be: Experienced, confident, and capable with preschool through school-age children Warm, welcoming, and affectionate, passionate about caring for children Loving, nurturing, and compassionate Creative, fun, and outgoing (can incorporate Mom's Best Friend's weekly themed curriculum and bring your own ideas!) Education-minded Active and outdoorsy, modeling a healthy lifestyle Honest, reliable, and punctual Within a reasonable commuting distance of Lakeway An excellent communicator - the parents would love to receive photos texted throughout the day Organized, structured (with some spontaneity as well), and willing to create/follow a routine Flexible with parents needs (e. g., available for sick care during the day on occasion) Able to maintain boundaries in a kind and assertive manner and model/impart manners Both parents work from home in their own office.
