We're looking for a lovely Full-Time Nanny for a 20-month-old toddler in Austin. Only interested in local candidates! You will be working in conjunction with another Full-Time Nanny to set your own schedule. Schedules will vary week to week, but you will have the calendar for the upcoming months and can plan accordingly. We are looking for someone who is very flexible, accommodating, and can travel with the family. The ideal candidate is warm, energetic, and loves children. This is a small team, and everyone loves each other, so you must be a team player!
Responsibilities:
- Help create safe and stimulating environments for child, as well as routines and schedules
- Research activities, classes, schools, etc. and help with registration, enrollment and calendaring
- Help child(ren) learn English, as well as another language(s), ideally Spanish
- Safely transport child(ren) to and from outings and destinations
- Help child(ren) grow into kind, smart, confident, wonderful individuals
- Help with dog care, light housekeeping, assistant tasks as requested
- Prioritize child-related duties, i.e. laundry, purchases, light meal prep, organization, packing, etc.
- Use technology when helpful/needed, such as apps for lighting, security, feeding and sleeping. calendar, google docs/spreadsheets, etc.
- Submit expense reports for purchases
- Stay aware of latest research and product recalls as it relates to the child(ren)
- Maintain clean, organized spaces
- Reinforcing potty training
- Engaging play including music, reading, building, and problem solving
Qualifications:
- Be forward thinking, proactive, kind, friendly, and compassionate
- Work well and collaborate with Family Office Team
- Employ honesty, integrity, and good, level-headed, logical thinking
- Maintain a valid Drivers license and clean, safe vehicle
- Maintain CPR and First Aid certifications
- Maintain vaccinations (i.e. flu, covid, tdap, etc.)
- Keep a valid U.S. Passport and be ready to travel with Family when requested (domestically and internationally). Travel will likely be many times throughout the year (some trips may be for longer periods of time, i.e. a month or so). Will try to give as much notice as possible, but some trips will be with shorter notice, so being travel ready is important.
- Candidates must have clear background checks and driving records
Compensation: DOE + Employer Paid Health Benefits: Medical, dental and vision
