As the family's dedicated nanny, your role will encompass creating a nurturing and engaging environment for children by planning fun, educational activities that are age-appropriate. You'll schedule local outings and coordinate playdates, ensuring safe transportation to and from school and activities. Additional tasks will include grocery shopping tidying up common areas, preparing simple meals and snacks, maintaining a clean space by loading and unloading the dishwasher, and laundering children's clothes and linens. Qualifications 3 years of professional childcare experience High school diploma At least 21 years of age Valid driver's license Clean driving record Authorized to work in the U.S. Ability to pass a background check Reliable and insured vehicle Schedule Part-time, guaranteeing 29 hours per week falling on Monday through Thursday from 12:30 pm to 6:30 pm and Friday from 12:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Flexibility for additional hours for date nights once a week and occasional overnights once or twice a month is appreciated. Compensation The family is offering $30-$35/hour based upon 29 hours per week which equates to up to $870-$1,015/week, and an anticipated annual base income of $45k-$52k+/year. This position is paid legally, on a W-2, subject to regular deductions and withholdings as required by law. Benefits The family is open to providing 10 days of paid time off, paid major holidays or time and a half if candidates are available to work, and mileage reimbursement at the IRS rate for local on-the-job travel.
