Part-time Nanny/Mother's Helper In Argyle

Family Overview: We are a busy family with six wonderful children who are easy-going and well-behaved, making our home a joyful place. We are seeking a dedicated, reliable, and caring nanny/mother's helper to join our family and help manage the daily routines and activities of our younger children. Primary Duties: 1. Infant Care: Provide attentive and loving care to our 6-month-old baby, including feeding, diaper changes, and engaging in age-appropriate activities. 2. Toddler Care: Look after our 1-year-old, ensuring they are safe, entertained, and engaged in developmental activities. 3. Special Needs Care: Assist with our 6-year-old who has special needs. She is nonverbal but fairly easy-going, requiring support with daily routines and therapeutic activities. 4. School Pick-Up: Responsible for picking up our 3rd and 4th graders from school and ensuring their safe return home. They are generally self-sufficient once home. Additional Responsibilities: - Assist with meal preparation and feeding times for the younger children. - Help with light housekeeping related to the children, such as tidying up play areas and cleaning up after meals. - Provide a nurturing and positive environment for all our children. Working Hours: - Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. - Occasional extra days may be needed when dad travels. - Opportunities for evening coverage for occasional parent nights out (monthly). Benefits: - We provide food and groceries for our nannies, truly treating them like family members. - Both parents work from home and are available as needed. - Possibility of traveling with the family for vacations from time to time. Requirements: - Previous experience with infants, toddlers, and children with special needs is preferred. - Reliable transportation for school pick-ups. - CPR and First Aid certification is a plus. - Excellent communication and organizational skills. - A compassionate, patient, and energetic demeanor.
