Job Description: We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Newborn Care Assistant to provide support and care for our newborn. The ideal candidate will have experience working with infants and a genuine love for children. This role is essential in helping our family adjust to the new addition and ensuring the well-being of our baby. Key Responsibilities: - Provide attentive, loving care to the newborn, including feeding, diaper changes, and soothing. - Assist with establishing and maintaining a routine for the baby, including sleep and feeding schedules. - Support parents in newborn care tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and comforting. - Monitor the baby's health and development, noting any concerns to discuss with parents. - Help maintain a clean and safe environment for the baby, including organizing nursery supplies and washing baby clothes. - Occasionally assist with light household duties related to the baby (e. g., preparing bottles, cleaning toys). - Offer emotional support to parents, providing them with a break when needed. Qualifications: - Previous experience caring for infants or young children. - Knowledge of newborn care practices and safety guidelines. - CPR and First Aid certification preferred. - Strong communication skills and a nurturing demeanor. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Flexibility in schedule to accommodate the family's needs. Schedule: - Must be available to work 3 days per week, with specific days to be determined.
