About the job
Schedule varies. Will be after school Tuesday one week and then after school Wednesday the next and every other Sunday. Also need someone for the few mornings a month I have to be at work before the bus pick up in the mornings. Honesty, respect for others and kindness in their actions are important. We teach with reward/consequence approaches and use a time out chair. The kids love video gaming, drawing/coloring, Pokemon, unicorns and legos. They are enthusiastic and very excitable. The oldest has anxiety, some anger issues and is heading straight into puberty. The youngest has ADHD and hasn't gotten meds yet. He throws tantrums and whines. You need patience and kindness most. Help in upholding our rules and routine to help the kids know what to expect is a big thing. We need a team member to help support what we do with them.
