About the job
Schedule varies. Will be 1-2 days a week and on call every other weekend. Honestly and respect for others are important for them to have instilled. As well as kindness in their actions. We teach with reward/consequence approaches. The kids love video gaming, drawing/coloring, Pokemon, unicorns and legos. They are enthusiastic and very excitable. The oldest has anxiety, some anger issues and is heading straight into puberty. The youngest has ADHD and hasn't gotten meds yet. He throws tantrums and whines. You need patience and kindness most. Help in holding our rules and routine to help the kids know what to expect is a big thing. We need a team member to help support what we do with them. We have a 25lb dog who loves everyone. He goes to work with mom every day. The cat is very aloof until he decides he likes you.
