About the job
We are a family of 2 parents, 5 children (ages 5-12), and one dog. This is a part time, hourly role that would consist of 20-25 hours of work after school watching the younger four kids most weeks. Our youngest child starts Kindergarten this fall, the next oldest will be in second grade, twins in fourth, and oldest in 7th (the oldest doesn't need supervision/just occasional transportation to practice). If one parent is traveling for work or needs to work in the evenings that week, hours could go over 25/week on occasion (if mutually agreeable). The offered hourly pay rate could range from $14-18 per hour depending on experience. Hours are generally after school (homework help, ensure chores are completed, light housekeeping, dinner prep) starting at 3:30 through 6:30 or 7:30, and later on Fridays to cover a parent date night.
