An active family in Arlington, TN is seeking a dependable, nurturing nanny to provide loving care for our 6-month-old and occasional care for our 2-year-old, who attends school. The position begins on March 17th and is for a 6-month duration. The preferred schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 PM, but family can be flexible with start and end times as long as it totals 40 hours per week. Flexibility is appreciated, as earlier start times may be needed 2-3 times a year when mom travels. Key responsibilities include creating a safe, engaging, and screen-free environment for the child, focusing on developmental milestones, and planning outings using the family car. This family values a nanny who can maintain focus on the child without distractions during their waking hours and leave the house in the same condition as they found it (no housekeeping required). During nap times, you are free to relax or engage in personal hobbies. The ideal candidate will be up-to-date on TDap and flu vaccinations, and feel comfortable with a friendly family dog.
