My grandson is a very busy 2. 5-year-old boy who is speech delayed. This in no way means he does not communicate. He is highly intelligent and needs activity and structure. My daughter just had a baby at the end of February and is currently on maternity leave from work. She works out of the home. She and my son-in-law have put my grandson in a Mothers Day out morning program twice since he turned 2 but he is not emotionally ready. These programs are not designed for him, and he wound up biting a child and the director asked them to remove him from the program.
