My 3-year-old is very independent. I can leave snack ready for her and drink and she can pretty much navigate her day until I come home for break. She loves to play in her playroom and hang out in her room. She does love to talk and sing so always conversations going and ideas being thrown around. my 6-month-old just needs help switching from one activity to the next and keeping busy. He is crawling and working on standing with assistance so he keeps you busy. An ideal day is kids in the living room starting the day with music and snacks and getting activity in. Then depending on 3-year-old could be games or TV time for about an hour. Then about an hour of school for her which isn't really school but more of a learning book that she usually does on her own after a simple instructions on each page. Then just hang out and play till mom's home
