I am a firefighter and my husband is a maintenance technician. I work 24 hour shifts and he works nights. We have 4-5 nights a month that our schedules overlap that we would need childcare in the evening and overnight. We know our schedules through the end of the year so notice is able to be given well in advance. Our son wakes at 7 a.m. and goes to bed at 8 p.m. He is an active little boy who loves to play with cars, monster trucks, anything outdoors and pretend. He usually naps from 12/1-3 p.m.
