The hours we need care for will vary month to month. I work as a 911 dispatcher for Greenwood and we work swing shifts- one month on first, one month on third. During my months on first shift we will need care from 3:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. During my months on third shift we will need care from 7:00 p.m. to around 11:30 pm, though the ending time will vary depending on what time their father gets off of work. It should never be later than 11:30, however. We have a 5-year-old girl, and a 2-year-old boy. Caring for them during our working hours would consist of playing, having a meal and/or snack, and possibly a nap. I'm open to any other questions you may have. They both love playing both outside and in, doing crafts, drawing/coloring, story time, listening and dancing to music, and any other engaging activities you can think of. Our daughter is fairly independent. She may need help with some simple things such as tying shoelaces or opening our baby gates, but otherwise she does most things on her own. She will need help with bigger tasks as well, such as preparing food or drinks. Our son is still in diapers and will need diaper changes, along with help with most things. We have two stubborn, headstrong kids that require someone who's patient and kind yet firm with them. We live in an apartment complex with multiple open parking spots available. We don't own any pets.
