I have a now 6-year-old son who will be 7 by the time he needs childcare for the summer. He is a super sweet boy with a ton of energy that enjoys video games, card games, board games, bike rides, the beach, pizza and chicken nuggets. He definitely loves to be the center of attention, but also loves having other kiddos to play with. I would definitely prefer finding someone who charges a weekly rate.
