We are seeking a Childcare Worker/Nursery Caregiver to join our team! You will assist in the development and supervision of children on at least three Sunday mornings per month. We look to model our faith in all interactions, demonstrating unconditional love and acceptance of everyone we come into contact with. YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITY IS TO CREATE AND MAINTAIN A FUN, SAFE, AND ENGAGING ENVIRONMENT FOR WEST LAWN'S YOUNGEST MEMBERS WHILE PROVIDING A SENSE OF SECURITY AND SUPPORT TO A CHILD'S PRIMARY CAREGIVERS AND INCORPORATING BASIC FAITH PRINCIPLES AND CONCEPTS IN AN AGE-APPROPRIATE MANNER (content provided for you). Additionally, you would be expected to perform the following: Supervise and interact with children in a safe and compassionate manner. Implement provided faith-forming activities. Create a positive and nurturing environment for children. Perform a variety of tasks, such as changing, feeding, comforting, and overseeing play. Establish and maintain a supportive relationship with the child's family members. Ensure the consistent and continual cleanliness of the nursery room (before, during, and after children are in your care). Inventory cleaning supplies and communicate needs to DCFM as needed. Oversee child check-in and check-out procedures and ensure that new paperwork gets to the Director of Children & Family Ministry's mailbox and that the Nursery binder remains neat and organized. Arrives 20 minutes before start time, ensuring the room is open and ready to receive children 15 minutes before start time
