We have two daughters with special needs. Our oldest is 16 with high-functioning autism and is quite independent. Our 15-year-old has significant behavioral issues including swearing, spitting, throwing, etc. We would need a person who can stay calm during these situations as they are trauma-related behaviors. She is a very sweet child when regulated, but when her fight or flight behaviors are triggered, it can be rough. We do not want someone who will yell or be rough with her. If you are willing to let us train you, you will find great success with her! We are grateful for someone who is willing to give us a break. It is much needed and appreciated!
