Overview
We are seeking two passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher's to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of young children and creating a nurturing learning environment.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate educational programs and activities
- Create engaging lesson plans that promote the intellectual and social development of children
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for all students
- Monitor and assess student progress to ensure each child's developmental needs are met
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support each child's individual learning journey
- Incorporate various subjects such as Math, Science, and Reading into the curriculum
- Utilize teaching methods that align with Early Childhood Education principles
- Implement Montessori or other educational philosophies as applicable
Skills
- Experience working with children in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of child development and early childhood education practices
- Ability to educate and inspire young learners
- Proficiency in curriculum development and lesson planning
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures in early education
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues
What are the qualifications needed for a Preschool Teacher?
Child Development Associate Certification, Associates degree or Bachelors degree required
Must be able to play with children in various ways including standing, kneeling, and playing on the floor.
Must be able to move up to 50 (50) pounds.
If you do not have an Associates or Bachelor's degree. The Child Development Associate Certification must be obtained upon hire as well all applicable clearances.
